The regular meeting of members of EPPFG held in Frankfurt successfully on June 7, 2014

Ethiopian People Patriotic Front Guard (EPPFG) is established with the purposes of bringing the TPLF/EPRDF power to end through all means of struggle, to eliminate tyranny, to bring justice, democracy and equality of the Ethiopian people. To accomplish the mission of the organization effectively, we create awareness for all Ethiopians who are voluntary to accompany us and we organize our members for a common goal. The members of the organization includes leaders of religion, asylum seekers, inhabitants in Germany and voluntary workers. The organization reaches to its members in many ways, one of this is with meeting regularly through the year.

Accordingly, EPPFG was calling a meeting in Frankfurt on June 7, 2014. During this time, the meeting was opened officially by Mr. Leul Keskis who is the Chairman of the EPPFG in Germany. More than 250 members were attending the meeting. The meeting was led by Ms. Zewdinesh Nigatu who is the chairman of the organization in Hessen region. After agenda of the meeting was explained, the stage was opened to the audiences for discussion. The meeting focused mainly on the following agendas.
1) Current problems in Ethiopia
2) Experience sharing between participants
3) Report from representatives of districts
After reports were heard from representatives of districts, the audience discussed properly on issues about how we could be strong in our movement for liberation of Ethiopia. Participants were aware of the current problems and situation of Ethiopia due to lack of justice, freedom and democracy in Ethiopia. There was a hot discussion about displacement of farmers due to selling of their fertile land to those so called “investors”. All members hold a stand to be attached hand in hand until the end for establishment of united and democratic Ethiopia. In between, fatherly advice and education was given by a leader of religion called Melake Hiwot Neka Tebebe Belay.
In addition, some of the audiences shared many of their experiences in their political activities to others. Similarly Mr. Leul Keskis explained a heart touching event and suffering of migrants while they were crossing borders to Yemen and to other countries abroad. Supporting to this, a record from DW radio was heard as a reference. Due to this all of the attendants were filled in sadness.
Finally, the meeting was closed by Mr. Leul Keskis after expressing his deep sad and concern on inhuman killing of protesting students in different Universities of Ethiopia and to bring the murderers to justice according world criminal court on behalf of EPPFG.
